Problem Statement
Tell me about a time you had to make a quick decision. / How do you handle decision-making under time pressure?
Explanation
During a hackathon, our initial project approach was not working with just three hours left, and I had to quickly decide whether to continue debugging or pivot to a simpler solution. I quickly assessed the situation, consulted my team briefly, and decided to pivot to a working solution that we could deliver on time rather than risk having nothing to present. This taught me that in time-critical situations, it's important to be decisive, trust your instincts, communicate clearly, and prioritize delivering something functional over perfection.
